The Origins
Born in 1992 in Kenya, Moise Basinza's journey with music began in the sacred spaces of church worship. In an environment where music and spirituality intertwine seamlessly, young Moise developed an intuitive understanding of rhythm and harmony that would later define his signature sound.
The Self-Taught Journey
At the age of 20, Moise picked up the bass guitar—not through formal training, but through an unrelenting passion for the instrument. Guided by an internal compass and the rich musical traditions around him, he developed a technique that bridges the driving pulse of Seben with the sophisticated harmonies of jazz.
The Nairobi Chapter
Nairobi marked a pivotal transformation. Armed with unwavering faith and exceptional skill, Moise integrated into the city's vibrant music scene through the Resurrection Temple worship team. It was here that his talents gained recognition, opening doors to East Africa's premier musical circles.
